ScamAlert

While we have been BBB accredited since 1993 and have a long-standing commitment to our sponsors and customers, there are a lot of unscrupulous companies out there looking to take advantage of you and your hard-earned money.

FAKE PARTNERSHIPS

These companies will say they are working with your local chamber, city or county office, or CVB when in fact they are not! Always check the facts before agreeing to anything! As a reminder, we will never go into your area without a signed contract. And most times you will be informed in advance from the chamber with our newsletter, announcing our partnership in the upcoming project. And once a project is completed, typically we won't go back into your area for another 12-18 months.

FRAUDULENT CHARGES

These fraudulent companies may even pose as another company in order to get you to pay for a product that you didn't order or attempt to trick you into paying for a product a second time. They may even say they are with Liberty Marketing.

YOUR RIGHTS

  • If you suspect you fraud, please call our office immediately at (817) 860-3110 or email us at webmarketing@libertymapads.com. We will let you know if we are not working in your area at the time or not. We can then notify others in your area that we had done business with before as well as our last sponsoring entity to make them aware.

  • Contact the sponsor they say they are working with (city office, chamber of commerce, etc) to confirm their story. Again, we at Liberty Marketing will not go into an area without a signed contract from our sponsor and/or distribution point.

  • We strongly encourage you to contact your local authorities and supply them with all the information you have, so they can investigate the scam company.

  • Contact your banking institution or credit card company right away if you have fallen victim to any of these scams. Most likely they will work with you to get your money back.

FINAL THOUGHTS

We at Liberty Marketing want you to be proactive with us in fighting fraud. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns and thank you for your continued patronage and support.

Don't be a victim! Together we can help stop these scam companies in their tracks!
